Stay Ibiza takes your privacy very seriously and applies all necessary measures to protect your personal data. This privacy notice is intended to give you a transparent view on how your data is collected, what we do with it and who we share it with.
We have made our best effort to provide you with a clear and understandable explanation of the way we process your data, but don’t hesitate to contact us if you still have any doubts, or if you would like to use any of your rights.
What information we collect.
The information we collect is: name, email, place of residence, phone number, passport details, IP address.
In some situations you may provide us with other personal data. We may also ask you if you have any disability, dietary preferences or religious requirements for the sole purpose of providing you with a suitable property and services.
What we do with it
If you consent to it, the details you provide to us will be added to our database and that of our email service and telephone service providers.
We will use your information for the sole purpose of either contacting you by email, phone or text message in order to offer you our most suitable properties or manage a booking you may have requested. We record telephone calls for the purpose of training and coaching our team, as well as recommending properties to you.
We will not retain your data for longer than is necessary to fulfil the purpose it is being processed for. To determine the appropriate retention period, we consider the amount, nature and sensitivity of the personal data, the purposes for which we process it and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means.
We must also consider periods for which we might need to retain personal data in order to meet our legal obligations or to deal with complaints, queries and to protect our legal rights in the event of a claim being made.
When we no longer need your personal data, we will securely delete or destroy it. We will also consider if and how we can minimise over time the personal data that we use, and if we can anonymise your personal data so that it can no longer be associated with you or identify you, in which case we may use that information without further notice to you.
Who we share it with
As described above, the information that you provide to us will be added to our database and passed on only to the relevant Accommodation Provider or other persons necessary for the enquiry, the booking and the provision of your accommodation and the services you required. When interacting with third parties, be aware that Stay Ibiza doesn’t own them and can’t control their processing of data. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of the other companies or persons you interact with.
In order to complete your booking and to comply with all applicable regulations, the information may also be provided to public authorities such as customs or immigration if required by them, or as required by law.
Certain information may also be passed on to security or credit checking companies.
If we cannot pass this information on as above, whether in the EEA or not, we will be unable to provide your booking. In making a booking, you consent to this information being passed on to the relevant persons.
